During the next 24 hours, you can send free-form messages (text, images, documents etc.) and Utility template messages in response to the customer, without Meta messaging charges. The CSW resets with each customer reply.  

NOTE: Service or Utility messages will no longer be free within the CSW, from October 1, 2026 onwards.

• Segment marketing campaigns to target customers based on purchase history, interests or engagement instead of sending promotions to your entire audience.  

• Optimise Your Message Template Mix: Marketing messages are 7.5 times more expensive than Authentication or Utility messages. Therefore, for the same message volume, transactional use cases such as OTPs, reminders and order updates can result in significantly lower WhatsApp API costs than marketing campaigns.

No, WhatsApp API is not free. The WhatsApp API pricing involves two categories:

1. Platform Fees: A fixed fee based on the selected GreenAds Global WhatsApp Business API plan:  

• Starter Plan is priced at BDT 2,698.19 per month. The Starter Plan requires a minimum commitment of 6 months. If you need a subscription for less than 6 months, you can choose the Basic or Enterprise Plan instead.

• Basic Plan is priced at BDT 3,717.01 per month.

• Enterprise/Advanced Plan is priced at BDT 6,195.02 per month.

For all three plans, you can also receive a 10% discount when billed half-yearly or a 15% discount when billed yearly.

2. WhatsApp Message Charges: based on how many messages you send and which country your customers are in. If your customers are in Bangladesh (County code +880), then

• In the Starter plan, message costs are BDT 10.1139 for Marketing, BDT 1.7 for Utility, BDT 1.7 for Authentication and BDT 1.7 for Service messages.

• In the Basic plan, message costs are BDT 9.8922 for Marketing, BDT 1.5768 for Utility, BDT 1.5768 for Authentication and BDT 1.5768 for Service messages.

• In the Advanced plan, message costs are BDT 9.6581 for Marketing, BDT 1.5152 for Utility, BDT 1.5152 for Authentication and BDT 1.5152 for Service messages.

You pay a fixed amount each month for using the platform and then pay separately for the messages you send. A 5% VAT is applicable to the subscription fee and WhatsApp message charges and is charged in addition to the applicable amounts.
