Yes. With GreenAds Global WhatsApp API Basic and Advanced plans, you can integrate with any e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Ubuy, Salla, Zid, WooCommerce and more. If you have already taken the GreenAds Global WhatsApp API Starter plan and wish to upgrade to Basic or Advanced to avail the e-commerce integration, we will guide you with the plan upgradation. These integrations will allow businesses to connect their online stores with WhatsApp and automate customer communication around orders and purchases.

No, WhatsApp API is not free. The WhatsApp API pricing involves two categories:

1. Platform Fees: The price depends on GreenAds Global WhatsApp Business API plan selected:  

• Starter Plan is priced at AED 80.80 per month. The Starter Plan requires a minimum commitment of 6 months. If you need a subscription for less than 6 months, you can choose the Basic or Enterprise Plan instead.

• Basic Plan is priced at AED 110.18 per month.

• Enterprise/Advanced Plan is priced at AED 183.62 per month.

For all three plans, you can also receive a 10% discount when billed half-yearly or a 15% discount when billed yearly.

2. WhatsApp Message Charges: based on how many messages you send and which country your customers are in. If your customers are in UAE (Country code : +971), then

• in the Starter plan, message costs are AED 0.2057 for Marketing message, AED 0.0701 for Utility, AED 0.0701 for Authentication and AED 0.0701 for Service messages  

• in the Basic plan, message costs are AED 0.2009 for Marketing, AED 0.0654 for Utility, AED 0.0654 for Authentication and AED 0.0654 for Service messages

• in the Advanced plan, message costs are AED 0.1961 for Marketing, AED 0.0628 for Utility, AED 0.0628 for Authentication and AED 0.0628 for Service messages.

* Service message rates apply from October 1, 2026.

You pay a fixed amount each month for using the platform and then pay separately for the messages you send.  A 5% VAT is applicable to the subscription fee and WhatsApp message charges and is charged in addition to the applicable amounts.

Total WhatsApp API cost = (Marketing x Rate) + (Utility x Rate) + (Authentication x Rate) + BSP fees

Here is the use-case: Sending 10,000 WhatsApp messages, over 1 month, on the GreenAds Global WhatsApp Business API Enterprise Plan.  

The total cost for 10,000 Marketing messages in UAE would be AED 2,144.62.

The total cost for 10,000 Utility/Authentication/Service messages in UAE would be AED 811.62.

At higher volumes, such as 10,000 messages per month, optimising the ratio of Marketing-to-Utility messages can have a greater impact on your overall costs. Since Marketing messages are more expensive, if your business use-case is suitable, shifting to Utility or Authentication templates can help reduce your monthly spend. This makes message-type optimisation an important cost-saving strategy as your WhatsApp messaging volume grows.

In UAE, WhatsApp Business API Marketing messages cost AED 0.2057 per message on the Starter plan, AED 0.2009 on the Basic plan and AED 0.1961 on the Advanced plan.

In UAE, WhatsApp Business API Utility messages cost AED 0.0701 per message on the Starter plan, AED 0.0654 on the Basic plan and AED 0.0628 on the Advanced plan.

In UAE, WhatsApp Business API Authentication messages cost AED 0.0701 per message on the Starter plan, AED 0.0654 on the Basic plan and AED 0.0628 on the Advanced plan.
